Google+ tricks and tips

After the launch of Google+ everybody wants to get a Google+ account. As it is new, there are many things about it which is unknown, so i am eritiing this post about some tricks and tips about Google+


List of shortcut keys for Google+

j: In the stream, you can click ‘j’ to navigate down to the next item

k: Navigate up.

@ or +: mention someone in a post

q: While on the Home tab, press twice the q letter on the keyboard to search and add people to your chat list.

Space Bar: Scroll down stream.

Shift + Space Bar: Scroll up stream.

Tab: Scrolls through comments/users on a post

Enter: Hitting Enter when focused on a Post opens up the comment box.

Tab + Enter: End comment.

Write Bold
*Word*  = Word

Write italic 
_Word_  = Word

write strikethrough
-Word- = Word

  • If you want to mention people in your post, add + or @ just before the name.
  • Send private message to people by only sharing yout post to them, disable reshare
  • Clicking on +1 button is same as like button in facebook
